Diamonds are graded according to different standards.
Diamonds can be divided into twelve grades according to color, of which the colorless grade D is the most valuable;
According to the weight of the diamond can be divided into seven levels, the greater the weight of the diamond is the higher the value;
According to the clarity points can be divided into ten grades, but the diamond ring below 0.47 carat does not divide the clarity level;
From the cutting score, it is divided into five levels. When the cutting is perfect, the light reflection is close to perfect.
Diamonds are graded by color. According to the quality from high to low, they can be divided into twelve grades: D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N and less than N. Among them, D ~ F is a colorless grade, and G ~ J is a nearly colorless grade.
Diamonds are measured in carat. One carat is equal to 0.2 grams, which is also equal to 100 cents.
According to the weight, diamonds can be divided into 0.30ct ~ 0.39ct, 0.40ct ~ 0.49ct, 0.50ct ~ 0.69ct, 0.70 ~ 0.89ct, 0.90 ~ 0.99ct, 1.00ct ~ 1.50ct, 1.50 ~ 2.00ct seven grades, among which ct is the score.
Other things being equal, the greater the weight of the diamond, the more valuable it is, and the weight on the diamond certificate will be accurate to the third decimal place.
Clarity is graded based on the location, size and number of inclusions in the diamond, with the more flaws and the more obvious the location, the lower the grade and value of the diamond.
During grading, diamonds are divided into 10 levels from high to low: FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, SI3, P1, P2, P3. The higher the grade, the higher the value.
However, it should be noted that the following 0.47 carat diamond ring is not allowed to be divided into small levels, there is no clarity level.
Cutting refers to the geometrical shape and arrangement of various flap surfaces of the finished bare drill. The cutting grades include cutting proportion, polishing and finishing degree, each of which has five levels, including EXCELLENT, VERY GOOD, GOOD, FAIR and POOR from high to low.
All three are top-cut diamonds, and the light reflection will be very close to perfect.
