The AG600 “Jiaolong” large fire-fighting/water rescue amphibious aircraft head is delivered to civil aircraft in the AVIC industry of China.
So?
AG600 is one of the three large civil aircraft projects approved by The State Council and the first civil aircraft model approved by AVIC after its reorganization.
This model is developed to meet the urgent need of forest fire fighting and water rescue and strengthen the construction of national aviation emergency rescue system. It is the largest amphibious aircraft under research in the world today.
The biggest feature of the AG600 is that it can take off and land on both land and water.
Equipped with water pumping system, water rescue emergency rescue and other task equipment, the model can repeatedly between the water source and the fire field to put out the fire, to achieve rapid and efficient forest fire extinguishing;
In addition to timely and effective low-altitude search on the water surface, the aircraft can also be parked on the water surface to carry out water emergency rescue. The minimum stable flight altitude of the aircraft can reach 50 meters, and a maximum of 50 people in distress can be saved at a time.
According to the design idea of “amphibious, multi-type and series development for one aircraft”, AG600 adopts a single hull, single wing layout on cantilever, retractable landing gear with three front points, and 4 WJ6 engines. It has a takeoff weight of 53.5 tons, can draw 12 tons of water at a time within 20 seconds, and has a wave resistant height of 2 meters.
With the ability to perform forest fire fighting, water rescue and other special tasks, can be modified according to the needs of users necessary equipment, to meet the needs of Marine environment monitoring, resource detection, passenger and cargo transportation and other tasks.
