“Zhuhai-yangjiang-luoding”, China’s first low-altitude air route, opened in Zhuhai on Saturday, Chinese aviation industry insiders said, the official opening of the air route is of great significance to China’s low-altitude airspace reform.
So?
Airspace is the key factor to restrict the development of general aviation in China.
Since the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of China’s Low-Altitude Airspace Management issued by The State Council and the Central Military Commission in 2010, voices calling for China’s low-altitude opening have become increasingly loud.
On May 28TH, AIFEIKE Aviation CLUB SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED THE FIRST LOW AIR ROUTE “ZHUHAI-YANGJIANG-LUODING”, WHICH attracted extensive attention IN AND outside the industry immediately.
The altitude of the low-altitude route is only more than 3,000 meters, far lower than the flight altitude of the civil aviation public transport route of more than 8,000 meters, which is suitable for the flight of general aircraft.
General aviation refers to civil aviation activities other than public air transport, including operational flights engaged in industry, agriculture, forestry, fishery and construction, as well as medical and health care, rescue and disaster relief, and private flights.
